+------------------------- Tom's Slackware repository -------------------------+ This my own repo for personnal use. They are not made for everyone. Anyway I can explain what they are. I have a ‘server’ repo used only for my server headless use. My servers usually use only the latest stable slackware release. It's possible I make packages for current version when the next stable is planned to be released soon. The ‘desktop’ repo is for a “classic” use. I use only current in general. In each repo, I have 4 subdir: - tom-security: all rebuilt slackware packages and new dependancies. For example I have x264 and x265 packages used by ffmpeg rebuilt package. (TAG=_tom) - tom: all extra packages from SBo or my own SlackBuilds. (TAG=_SBo) It also have some alienbob packages rename as _SBo like libreoffice, openjdk, and compat packages. - tom-pasture: all packages (extra or rebuilt from slackware sources) in a previous version than ‘tom’ or ‘tom-security’ just in case. Can also have packages I don't use anymore. - tom-testing: all packages (extra or rebuilt from slackware sources) used for test only. You can see all packages are ‘tzz’ format. They are made with zst algorithm compression. Only ‘pkgtools’ and ‘slackpkg’ are in tgz format which I rebuilt to support tzz packages. I also rebuilt ‘mkinitrd’ only to create zstd image instead of gzip.
