Several important things to note: First of all, the gpgme package from /deps was removed, because the stock package from Slackware-current got the support for Qt6, then you will need to unblock the stock package and to upgrade to it - failing to do this may result on your desktop malfunctioning. Secondly, starting with this build I have adopted for the main tree the proposal about adding the batch number to the build number, resulting a final $BUILD like 13.1. Yes, I am aware that would have been nicer to start with 13.0 , but this would have required relative consistent changes on build scripts, to start with build number 0 (zero) and I would like to avoid this because I have NO intention to fork the KTown. On contrary, I strive to remember everyone that I see this Plasma6 build of mine as a temporary solution until the KTown starts moving again, and in the same time to be more or less of help offering an updated infrastructure for the named KTown. So, I prefer to keep the build system as close as possible to the original. Finally, please note that these packages are built against latest Qt6 6.7.3 before it was removed from -current in favor of Qt6 6.8.0. Apparently they work quite well against the newer Qt6 library - even on Wayland sessions, BUT please bear in mind that as far I understand the Plasma6 will get official support for Qt6 6.8.0 only starting with Plasma 6.3.0 and Applications 24.12.0 , both yet to be released. So, my honest suggestion is still to keep at hand the Qt6 6.7.3 package. Just in case. I have for you the new released KDE Plasma 6.2.2 , also an update for again new released oxygen-icons 6.1.0 and the expected rebuilds for the last Poppler incident. Namely, the KItinerary, Cantor, KDevelop, Okular, Calligra, Krita and Labplot got rebuilds, and the problem unstable kid of this build - Kile got a new pull from the master branch of its GIT repository, so let's name this an upgrade. Of course, there are also the usual rebuilds for the Frameworks components, namely kfilemetadata and its counterpart kfilemetadata-5 . It needs to be integrated in the init scripts. So, you will need to add into /etc/rc.d/rc.local the snippet bellow. The daemon itself is controlled via an init script named /etc/rc.d/rc.power-profiles which uses the daemon supervisor (included in Slackware) to manage it. And yes, it needs to be carefully supervised because it's effectively a systemd daemon, just like are the PipeWire daemons. With this, you have also a full example of usage of the daemon supervisor on init scripts, which is its original purpose.
